    ABOUT THE COLLEGE

    Vinayaka Mission's Sankarachariyar Dental College (VMSDC) was established in the year 1986, recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and Govt. of India, New Delhi. VMSDC has evolved as a unique institution to aspire students and nurture them with a world class supportive learning environment to meet the needs of patients and society, at large scale. It is one of the first private dental colleges in Tamilnadu which has been maintaining its golden standards for more than 35 years which gives a good clinical training by the volume of patients.

    BDS - 4 YEARS + 1 YEAR INTERNSHIP

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    1. Candidates passed in 10+2/ H.Sc. [or] its equivalent examination from a recognised board and obtained a minimum aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Biotechnology and passed in English and also secured the minimum eligible percentile score in the NEET - UG, as specified given in their respective category.

    Age: Candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31 st December of the year of admission.

    ADMISSSION PROCEDURE

      Admissions will be made for UG Degree programme through online counseling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET UG Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the DCI regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India / Government of India / Dental Council of India, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.


    MDS - 3 YEARS

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

      A Pass in BDS Degree Course and also should have obtained a minimum eligible percentile score in the NEET-MDS as prescribed by the Government of India, New Delhi.


    ADMISSSION PROCEDURE

      Admissions will be made for PG Degree programmes through online counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET MDS Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the DCI regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India / Government of India / Dental Council of India, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.


    DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES : DENTAL HYGIENISTS /DENTAL MECHANICS

    DURATION : 2 YEARS

     ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

      A pass in 10+2 /H.Sc. or its equivalent Examination with science subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology)
