    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

      Admissions made for UG Degree programmes under the faculty of Allied Health Science Courses on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and merit based Counselling will be conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Commission for Allied Healthcare Profession (NCAHP), New Delhi and VMRF-DU rules & regulations from time to time.

    Age: Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

    PG Programmes
    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

      Admissions made for PG Degree programmes under the faculty of Allied Health Science Courses on the basis of the marks obtained in the All India Entrance Examination conducted by VMRF(DU) & merit based Counselling will be conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the National Commission for Allied Healthcare Profession (NCAHP), New Delhi and VMRF-DU rules & regulations from time to time.


    DIPLOMA Programmes
    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

      Admissions will be made for Diploma programme, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and merit based Counselling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the VMRF-DU rules & regulations from time to time.

    ABOUT THE COLLEGE

    School of Allied Health Sciences, an unit of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Salem started in the year 2004 by Founder Chancellor Dr.A.Shanmugasundaram, His vision was to empower the youth from the rural background and not only in student strength but also in terms of its quality and dynamicity. If started with only 2 courses and 20 students in just one campus has now widened across Five campuses in Salem, Chennai, Puducherry, Karikal with around 1000 students every academic year and due to the continual improvement, It is the 19th successful year with 14 Under Graduate courses, 13 Post Graduate courses, and 3 Diploma courses.

    ABOUT THE COLLEGE

    School of Allied Health Sciences is functioning at Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Medical College campus, is a constituent school of Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) Salem. It provides a sound foundation in health sciences as well as hands on training with highly qualified medical faculties. Paramedics are health professionals who are core assistant of doctors in overall diagnosis and care of the patients and management of health facilities. The Institute associated with Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Medical College and Hospitals is located in the rural area of Salem, South India in a vast area of 69.71 acres, running UG (MBBS) and PG (MD / MS) programmes with 20 well established departments duly recognized by the MCI/National Medical Commission, New Delhi.
