Soft skills development

Soft skill is a personal attribute that helps an individual to maintain situational awareness and also increasing his or her ability to complete a task. When referring to people skills or emotional intelligence, the term "soft skill" is frequently used as a synonym. While hard skills describe a person's technical ability to perform a specifically defined task, soft skills are more general and can be applied across a wide range of job titles and industries. It is frequently stated that while hard skills may help someone get an interview, soft skills will assist that person in obtaining (and maintaining) a job. Developing soft skills is important for resume writing, interviewing, and finding success in interpersonal communication at work and in other areas of a student's life, as well as for academic success.
