NAD DigiLocker is an initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). MHRD has appointed UGC as nodal agency for implementation of NAD scheme through DigiLocker. NAD-DigiLocker aims to provide paperless government, facilitated the students to get authentic Educational documents/certificate in digital format which was issued by their Academic institutions. The NAD ecosystem comprises of the Academic Institutions, Students, Verifying Partners, and NAD Repository.
Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is a virtual/digital storehouse that contains the information of the credits earned by individual students throughout their learning journey. It will enable students to open their accounts and give multiple options for entering and leaving colleges or universities. There will be “multiple exits” & “multiple entries” facility during the higher education tenure & credits will be transferred through the ABC seamlessly.
As per the UGC guidelines, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF) has registered in NAD – DigiLocker & ABC in 2021 and uploaded the Students degree certificates from the year 2017 onwards in NAD -DigiLocker portal. Mark statements of students (except Medicine, Dental & Homeopathy) also uploaded in their ABC Id’s from 2022 batch onwards. Students can use the link mentioned below to view their Digital certificates and ABC Id.
NOTE: Part A and Part B steps can be used by passed out students of VMRF. They can also able to view their digital degree certificates in DigiLocker portal from the period 2017 onwards. For all the students who are on roll, creating ABC Id shall be taken up by Nodal officer of DigiLocker & ABC in bulk to have been in process, after receiving the requisite input from their respective HOIs. So created ABC Id shall be shared to the students through their respective HOIs.
